Krystal Jackson is a former UCLA All-American and professional beach volleyball player from the small town of Ventura, California. She was a starting setter and team captain for the UCLA Bruins, leading the program to four 5th-place finishes in the NCAA Tournament.

After college, she competed on the AVP Professional Beach Volleyball Tour and represented USA Volleyball internationally in competitions around the world.

While competing on the beach, Krystal also coached for a top volleyball club, leading a team for five consecutive years. During that time, her team earned three 3rd-place finishes and one 5th-place finish at the Junior Olympics in the Open Division. The athletes she coached went on to play at top Division I programs, including three who became starters at UCLA.

Following her professional playing career, Krystal became instrumental in building Jackson Strength, a sports performance facility in San Diego dedicated to helping youth athletes achieve their dreams of playing their sport in college. Together with her husband, Curtis, they have helped send hundreds of athletes on to compete in Division I college athletics.

Recently, they opened a new Jackson Strength facility in Whitefish, where they train athletes to become stronger, faster, and more athletic.

Krystal also continues to train athletes both online and in person, using her platform to inspire them to pursue their dreams and become the best versions of themselves.

Curtis Jackson is a former professional beach volleyball player who competed on both the AVP and FIVB tours. A standout three-year starter at Long Beach State, Curtis helped lead the 49ers to an NCAA Division I National Championship appearance and several weeks ranked as the #1 team in the country. After two seasons as the team’s starting outside hitter, Curtis transitioned to become the first libero in Long Beach State history. He still holds multiple defensive records and earned All-League honors his senior year.

As a volleyball coach, Curtis has coached at one of the top club programs in the country as well as at the collegiate level.

Curtis is also a world-class performance coach and the founder and co-owner of Jackson Strength & Performance. For more than twenty years, Curtis has helped athletes reach the highest levels of physical and mental performance. Jackson Strength & Performance has trained hundreds of athletes across youth, collegiate, professional, and Olympic levels in a wide range of sports, including baseball, basketball, skiing, football, indoor and beach volleyball, martial arts, soccer, and track and field. A large portion of the athletes he has trained have been female volleyball players, including 12 who went on to play at UCLA.

In December of 2025, Curtis and his wife Krystal, opened Jackson Strength & Performance in Whitefish, Montana to serve athletes throughout the Flathead Valley.

Today, Curtis is passionate about bringing hope and encouragement to athletes throughout the Valley, helping them realize they can go as far as their athletic dreams will take them!
